Work/Life Balance in Pawn
Most people become self-employed for a “better quality life”, “no boss”, and to “do what they love for work every day”. But the reality in America today is that almost 80% of owners are not able to take a 1 week vacation and have become a slave to their own creation. So much so in this industry that they are not even able to attend a pawn convention for 2-3 days unless they close their store. We feel that this is a travesty and something that can easily be changed. Brad Borkhuis will teach you how to love what you do again and how to have work life balance in your creation. You will not have to worry about closing your business just to have a day off any longer.
You can rest assure that you will leave Brad’s workshop with a clear definition of all of the pain points that you have in your business as well as what causes them, a roadmap for overcoming those pain points, and a defined plan with actionable steps to see measurable and desirable change in your business. You will no longer need to be a slave to your business because Brad will teach you how to be the king instead. Find out more about Brad and his background of success here.

While completing degrees and competing in Football at Bemidji State University he refined his personal philosophy to what it is today. Do Right, Be Right, and Pay it forward. The next step of an MBA took him to the University of North Dakota as well as the Business institute of Norway which broadened his perspective and worked for Microsoft in the Business Solutions Division along with being a graduate teaching assistant for Quantitative Analysis of Management and Production Theory.
Upon his return to a family business in need of help, Brad guided the company and turned around a $700k loss and found profitability in two years by helping his employees use the lessons he had been taught and turned into his expecting greatness program.
Respecting the blessings he had been given he volunteered to help coach the offensive line at Minot High School and in 2010 took over as the head coach at Bishop Ryan. In 2010 he also took over as a head football coach where he turned a program around in just two years. It is here he found that a business based tool was really a character tool and could be successful with people of ages, backgrounds, and perspectives.
Brad now travels the world sharing Expecting Greatness as well as coaching and consulting with many companies, teams, and organizations.
